To date, amino acid profiling of Egyptian women with BC hasn’t been well investigated, so we aimed in the present study to examine the alteration of the plasma amino acids profiles and investigate their association with BRCA1 and 2 circulating levels in Egyptian females diagnosed with BC and in females with family history of BC in order to establish potential novel non-invasive screening strategies which will help in the early detection of BC and provide insight into the progression of the disease using a safe, low cost and easy method. The gene discussed is BRCA1; the disease is breast cancer.
