In the midbrain of the rat model of PD, ANOVA revealed a significant decrease in the activity of Na+,K+,ATPase (0.15 ± 0.008, P=0.026) and acetylcholinesterase (AchE) (3.45 ± 0.28, P=0.002) by 25% and 20.51% compared to control rats (0.20 ± 0.01 and 4.34 ± 0.22, respectively). Here, ACHE is linked to Parkinson disease.
