GFAP and intracranial hemorrhage: On the other hand, PEG alone increased circulating platelets but not GFAP recovery as well as not mitigating intracranial hemorrhage, suggesting that CIP + PEG enhancement on 30-day survival compared to PEG alone after IR may be partially contributed by increases in GFAP levels and decreases in p53 activation in brain, which is also participated in mitigating the IR-induced intracranial brain hemorrhage.
