Elderly patients present more advanced BC, partly due to the absence of systemic screening (5, 6), display higher rates of hormone receptors (HR)-positive/Her2-negative cases than younger cohorts such as those included in pivotal studies (7), with higher triple-negative (TN) BC and Her2-positive tumors in young (<= 40 years old) and very young (<= 35 years old) patients (8). This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and breast cancer.
