SOD1 and cancer: The CeO2/Cu‐W exhibits a high SOD and POD activity in contrast with CeO2/Cu‐C and CeO2/Cu‐O and facilitates continuous catalysis of O2∙− → H2O2 → ∙OH in cancer cells via the relay reaction supported by oxygen vacancies, eventually achieving constant production of ∙OH, triggering the apoptosis of cancer cells (Figure1).
