In this dataset, DEGs associated with poor outcomes were characterized by a small group of upregulated genes (n = 73) that included BCL2, BLNK, CXorf21, CD72, IGLL5, CCND2, TNFRSF8, NME1, BTLA and CD52, and a large group of downregulated genes (n = 1472) that included 49 genes that have been described to be frequently mutated in lymphoma [35] and immune checkpoint genes (CTLA4, TIGIT, CD80) (Fig. 3A; Table S7). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and lymphoma.
