The findings indicate that individuals with overweight/obesity (OW/OB) had significantly higher levels of body mass index (BMI), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), FAT (%), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), triglyceride (TG), free fatty acid (FFA), fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2 h blood glucose after glucose overload (2 h-BG), fasting insulin (FIns), 2 h insulin after glucose overload (2 h-Ins), HOMA-IR, the area under the curve for glucose (AUCg), the area under the curve for insulin (AUCi), and HbA1c, compared to the control group.
