AFP and neoplasm: Just over half of the patients (56.6%) had a single tumor, with an average of 1.5 tumors (SD: 0.8-2.2); 61.1% of patients had a tumor burden of six or less, while the mean tumor burden for the entire group was 6.4 (SD: 5.7-8.1); 70% of patients had an alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) level lower than 400 ng/ml; 55.6% were classified with Child-Pugh score B; and 73.4% were classified as BCLC stage B (Table 1).
