In the present study, 10 significant ferroptosis-related factors associated with breast cancer were used to construct the model for prediction of prognosis: Tp63, SQLE, SLC7A5, SLC7A11, PTGS2, PROM2, MT3, IL33, ANO6, and ALOX15B. According to FerrDb (http://www.zhounan.org/ferrdb/) (15), TP63 and SLC7A11 are inhibitors of ferroptosis, while SQLE, ANO6, IL33, and ALOX15B may promote ferroptosis. Here, ALOX15B is linked to breast carcinoma.
