The aim of the study was first to assess whether the AT and PBMCs expressions of ANRIL and ANRIL transcript variants were associated with CAD susceptibility, and to investigate the impact of 9p21.3 locus variations on the expression of ANRIL and transcript variants in PBMCs in AT in Tanzanian CAD patients. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B-AS1 and coronary artery disorder.
