In comparison with the general breast cancer population, sTILs were generally lower in our IBC cohort with sTIL < 10% in 64.6% of the cases versus 44% in general breast cancer population, as well as in the respective receptor subgroups (sTIL < 10% for 75.4% of ER+/HER2−; for 58.9% of HER2+ and 52.2% for ER−/HER2− subgroup in our IBC cohort versus sTIL < 10% in 56% of Luminal breast cancer, 44% in HER2+ breast cancer, and 29% in TNBC for the general breast cancer population; ref. 28).
