STAT6 and allergic asthma: IL-4 is dependenton the JAK1-STAT6 signal pathway to trigger Th2cell differentiation, which is the primary pathway implicated in thedevelopment of allergic asthma.20 WhenIL-4 binds to the cytokine receptor, JAK1 proteins become activated, leading to the phosphorylation of STAT6, which subsequently formsdimers and translocates to the nucleus.21 Experimental validation confirmed that JGT inhibits the differentiationof Th2 cells by blocking the JAK1-STAT6 signaling pathway in CD4+ T cells.
