Interestingly, the incidence of eosinopenia rather than lymphopenia was significantly different between cohorts. High CRP (>100 mg/L) was more prevalent in COVID-19 patients, although no differences remained once adjusted for other covariates. Here, CRP is linked to respiratory system disorder.
