SET and prostate cancer: Increased SET protein has been observed in a variety of cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia, gastric cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, non–small cell lung cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma, with a positive correlation between high SET expression and poor prognosis (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
