Our in-depth research into the cellular immunogenicity of SeV-dF/HSV-2-ICP27 revealed that IL-2-, TNF-α-, and IFN-γ-antigen-specific CTLs and IL-2- and IFN-γ-antigen-specific Th cells were successfully recalled by two infections of SeV-dF/HSV-2-ICP27 and these cells jointly contributed to an in vivo increase in IL-2, TNF-α, and IFN-γ levels. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is infection.
