In the concentration range of 0.1–0.8 mM, which is similar to that in our study, diclofenac inhibits decreased glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1), lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA), and monocarboxylate transporter 1 (MCT1) gene expression, and lowers the secretion of lactate in leukemia and melanoma cell lines [55]. The gene discussed is SLC2A1; the disease is leukemia.
