Further analysis revealed that SCEVs were able to reverse the diabetes-induced reduction in several essential miRNAs, such as miR-21, -27a, and -146a, along with the modulation of a diabetes-induced elevation in semaphorin 6A (SEMA6A), RhoA, PTEN, and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB) [148]. This evidence concerns the gene SEMA6A and diabetes mellitus.
