CTLA4 and melanoma: Analysis of transcriptomic data from melanoma biopsies of immune checkpoint blockade responders and non-responders showed that responders had high levels of HLA-I in comparison to non-responders, suggesting that the suppression of the HLA-I antigen processing-and-presentation machinery played a significant role in the primary resistance to anti-CTLA-4 and anti-PD-1 therapy.
