We conducted a small, prospective, pilot cohort study among breast cancer patients receiving anthracycline-based chemotherapy to evaluate the temporal changes in the levels of serum biomarkers NT-proBNP, ST2, high-sensitivity cardiac troponin I (hs-cTnI), and galectin-3 in relation to changes in subclinical LVD as assessed by two-dimensional echocardiography or three-dimensional echocardiography with strain imaging. Here, TNNI3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
