CD8A and melanoma: The findings of the Italian Melanoma Intergroup revealed that the density and distribution of CD8-positive cells within the melanoma sample may encompass the future responsivity to MAPK inhibitors (Cobimetinib, Trametinib, Binimetinib), the corollary being that specimens with a low expression of T-cell immune markers correspond to patients with poorer objective response rates, and therefore, with shorter overall survival [28].
