In these patients, liver fibrosis is associated with lower MCV, lower platelet count, anisocytosis (indicated by the red cell distribution width coefficient of variation), lower plateletcrit, higher aminotransferase activity, lower albumin concentration, higher percentage of HbA1c, surprisingly better lipid parameters (except triglicerydes), and with marginally lower white and higher red blood cells counts. Here, ALB is linked to Hepatic fibrosis.
