F2 and autoimmune polyendocrinopathy: The aim our study is to evaluate the hypercoagulable state in LA-positive patients with APS using TGA modified by the addition of activated protein C. We took advantage of the fact that TGA measures thrombin generation throughout the haemocoagulation process and thus provides a broader picture of the overall coagulation potential, since the basic coagulation tests prothrombin time, and activated partial thromboplastin time measure thrombin generation only during the initiation phase of coagulation.
