Stratified Cox proportional regression hazards analysis demonstrated that CYP inducers (aHR 2.73, 95% CI 1.54–4.85, p = 0.0006), EGFR TKIs (aHR 1.79, 95% CI 1.18–2.73, p = 0.0065), advanced-stage LC, and moderate or severe kidney disease (aHR 2.17, 95% CI 1.07–4.40, p = 0.0328) were associated with a higher risk of two-year mortality. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
