A recent study by Dueva and colleagues (2023) reported no significant changes in the survival of HAMNO-treated irradiated lung carcinoma cells [72], whereas Feng et al. (2023) demonstrated that RPA inhibition by HAMNO increased the radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells, and this is a promising result because radiotherapy is the standard therapeutic approach for nasopharyngeal carcinoma [73]. Here, RPA1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
