The most prevalent translocation, t(12;21)(p13;q22), is found in 25% of B-cell precursor ALL (pB-ALL) cases and creates an in-frame fusion that includes the repressive domain of the transcription factor ETV6 and the RUNT DNA binding domain of the transcription factor RUNX1 [2,3,4,5]. This evidence concerns the gene ETV6 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
