WT1 and carcinoma: A combination of two “mesothelioma-associated” markers (e.g., calretinin, Wilms’ tumor-1 (WT-1), cytokeratin 5/6) and two “(adeno)carcinoma-associated” markers (e.g., CEA, Ber-EP4, MOC-31) can typically be used to diagnose epithelioid mesotheliomas.
