We also performed a neutral comet assay to confirm DSBs in endometrial cancer cells before and after DHODH inhibitor treatment (Figure 1C), where we found a significant increase in the comet tail moment in treated versus untreated cells (Figure 1D; Mean ± SEM: HEC1B: 32 ± 5 versus 51 ± 7, * p < 0.05; ANC3A: 52 ± 7 versus 83 ± 8, ** p < 0.01). Here, DHODH is linked to endometrial cancer.
