CD47 and pulmonary fibrosis: In a mouse model of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis, we observed that treatment with the CD47 inhibitor RRx-001, at a dose of 10 mg/kg for a duration of 2 weeks, significantly reduced ROS production in lung sections of mice exposed to bleomycin, as measured by the fluorescence of DHE (Figure 8A and Supplementary Figure S7A).
