A phase I clinical trial with an anti-LOX-1 neutralizing antibody (MEDI6570; NCT03654313) has been completed and a phase II trial (NCT NCT04610892) is currently being carried out to evaluate the effect of this antibody on markers of coronary disease and heart failure in 400 patients with a history of myocardial infarction and persistent inflammation. This evidence concerns the gene OLR1 and heart failure.
