Based on the results of these studies and the frequency of occurrence of cardiovascular diseases in the study groups, it can be concluded that one of the causes of the disease in the study group was contamination of the territory and human food chain by pesticides, which, in combination with unfavorable genotypes regarding the detoxification (CYP1A1, CYP2B6, CYP2C19) and antioxidant protection (GCLC, GCLM, GPX4, NFE2L1, NQO1, PON1, PON2, SOD1, SOD2, SRXN1, TXNRD1, UCP3) functions, promoted the development of cardiovascular disease. This evidence concerns the gene UCP3 and cardiovascular disorder.
