On the other hand, three raccoon dogs (Np1, Np3+Np4) presented suppurative bronchopneumonia; in two cases (Np1+Np3), Staphylococcus pseudintermedius and Streptococcus canis with low to strong bacterial growth were found, indicating a secondary infection of the lung associated with the infection of the skin. This evidence concerns the gene LNP1 and bronchopneumonia.
