Hong et al. (55) found that the blood lipocalin-2 (LCN2) and serum amyloid A (SAA) levels may be associated with a type 17 asthma subtype, which are steroid-resistant IL-17A target genes in airway cells, and IL-17A–Act1/CEBPB axis is an important regulatory mechanism of LCN2 and SAA.
