NFKB1 and osteoarthritis: This pathway has been reported to be responsible for osteoclast differentiation and is also closely related to pathologies such as osteoarthritis.(46) Previous studies have shown that inhibition of Akt‐NF‐κB‐NFATc1 pathway components can reduce bone resorption and prevent bone loss in animal models.(47, 48) Our results support this finding, and demonstrate the value of targeting this pathway in developing novel therapies for osteoporosis and other bone‐related disorders.
