TEP1 and infection: This is characterised by the upregulation of the complement-like gene thioester-containing protein 1 (Tep1), and this is induced to similar levels by both infection and wasp homogenate at 24h post-treatment (Figure 1B, main effect of treatment: F = 35.52, d.f = 3, p = 8.06 x 10-12; wasp homogenate vs. infection: t = 2.62, d.f. = 44, p = 0.07).
