It was found that the level of LIPT2 promoter methylation was obviously increased in Colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), Esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), KIRC, Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), and Sarcoma (SARC) tissues compared to normal tissues, while they were significantly lower in BLCA, KIRP, THCA, and Testicular Germ Cell Tumors (TGCT) tissues (Fig. 4). The gene discussed is LIPT2; the disease is bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
