Although Rab29, Rab32, and Rab38 could all activate Rab10 phosphorylation by LRRK2, only Rab29 promotes the formation of LRRK2 tetrameric assembly, boosts Ser1292 autophosphorylation, and is associated with late-onset PD. This evidence concerns the gene RAB32 and late-onset Parkinson disease.
