In addition to marked effects on decreased risks of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases in positive control analysis, lipid-lowering variants of CETP (OR 0.41; 95% CI: 0.26 to 0.64; p-IVW=7.48×10-5, FDR=6.52×10-4) and LPL (OR 0.61; 95% CI: 0.55 to 0.68; p-IVW=5.27×10-3, FDR=0.03) were associated with decreased risks of hypertension.
