F. nucleatum has been reported to promote CRC carcinogenesis by influencing various pathways, including autophagy signaling, anti-apoptotic responses, inflammation, cell growth and CRC cell adhesion.18,19,21,34,45 To gain further insights into the mechanisms involved in F. nucleatum-mediated CRC pathogenesis, we investigated the role of the ALPK1-TIFA axis in these targeted pathways. This evidence concerns the gene ALPK1 and colorectal carcinoma.
