CXCL2 and ovarian carcinoma: Numerous immune cell types within the TME secrete chemokines to facilitate intercellular signaling, resulting in the activation of several downstream pathways, including but not limited to nuclear factor Kappa B, the Janus kinase signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK/STAT), and Notch signaling, all of which can promote tumor growth [13]. Higher C‐X‐C motif chemokine ligand 2 (CXCL2) expression levels have been found in patients with platinum‐resistant ovarian cancer [15], and CXCL2 has been shown to increase cisplatin resistance [14].
