His laboratory results demonstrated autoimmune hemolytic anemia with decreased hemoglobin (Hgb), elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), decreased haptoglobin, peripheral smear showing spherocytes, and a positive direct antiglobulin (Coombs) test.
