By applying the LASSO algorithm to the CCL8, CXCL10, and 8 clinical variables (including WBC, Hb, PLT, ALT, AST, TG, Fg, ferritin and sIL2R), 7 variables (including CXCL10, Hb, PLT, AST, TG, ferritin and sIL2R) were selected by LASSO for predicting MAS, with an AUC of 0.9615 (Fig. 5G), highlighting the value of CXCL10 in the prediction and evaluation of AOSD-MAS. This evidence concerns the gene CCL8 and adult-onset Still disease.
