Apart from cancer hallmark processes, we found genes from a number of gene groups enriched for several biological processes (e.g., T cell receptor signaling for G16 and G20, mitogen-activated protein kinase cascade for G8 and G148, negative regulation of programmed cell death [PD] for G2 and G19, etc.)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways (e.g., PD-L1 expression and PD-1 checkpoint pathway for G3, G16, and G71, JAK-STAT, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway for G7 and G72, Th2 and Th17 cell differentiation for G16, G20, and G27, etc.). Here, AKT1 is linked to cancer.
