MYC and cancer: Through GSEA, we found genes from several gene groups associated with cancer hallmark processes (e.g., epithelial-mesenchymal transition, inflammatory response, estrogen early and late response, mTORC1 signaling, Myc targets, p53 signaling, KRAS up- and down-signaling) and biological pathways (e.g., inflammatory response, PD-L1 expression and PD-1 checkpoint, cancer immunotherapy by PD-blockade and epidermal growth factor/epidermal growth factor receptor signaling).
