To address this issue of increased RN risk, the PRIDE trial (“Protective VEGF Inhibition for Isotoxic Dose Escalation in Glioblastoma”; NCT05871021; NOA-28; ARO-2022-12) aims to incorporate the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor bevacizumab (BEV) into dose-escalated radiation therapy (RT), with doses up to 75 Gy (Fig. 1).
