As opposed to FVIII, several FV point mutations such as R506Q (FVLeiden [32]), R306T (FVCambridge [33]), and R306G (FVHong Kong [33]) impair the APC cleavage site, and those such as W1920R (FVNara [34]) and A2086D (FVBesançon [35]) disturb the APC cleavage reaction, resulting in the association with venous thrombosis.
