Based on gene expression profiles, DLBCL can be further classified into germinal center B-cell-like subtype, activated B-cell-like subtype, and primary mediastinal (thymic) large B-cell lymphoma, with B-cell-like subtype often showing positivity for BCL-6 and CD10.[26] In this case, the patient presented with the most common type of DLBCL, measuring approximately 8*7*7 cm. The gene discussed is BCL6; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
