DPP4 and colorectal cancer: Yangchunxie et al. confirmed that DPP4 (also known as CD26) plays a role in ferroptosis regulation and found that the loss of TP53 prevented the nuclear accumulation of DPP4 in colorectal cancer cells, thereby facilitating the plasma membrane-related DPP4-dependent lipid peroxidation and ultimately leading to ferroptosis [39].
