ABCC9 and cardiomyopathy: Given the constellation of cardiovascular findings namely the left ventricular hypertrophy of unknown etiology, large pericardial effusion, history of aorto-pulmonary collaterals and new onset lymphedema in a patient with non-specific dysmorphic features, a cardiomyopathy molecular studies panel was sent, and a pathogenic variant was identified in the ABCC9 gene, confirming the molecular diagnosis of autosomal dominant Cantu syndrome.
