A meta-analysis that included 869 Asian patients in seven different studies of the relationship between TIM-3 expression and the prognosis of urothelial, renal cell cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, hepatoma, colorectal carcinoma, gastric cancer, and cervical carcinoma found that TIM-3 expression was negatively related to overall survival and tumor stage (Zhang et al. 2017). Here, HAVCR2 is linked to gastric cancer.
