Additionally, reprocessing of our previously collated microarray data revealed that out of 11, eight genes of laminin family, including LAMA1, LAMA2, LAMA3, LAMA5, LAMB1, LAMB3, LAMC2 and LAMC3 were significantly upregulated in CCA tissues when compared with the adjacent noncancerous tissues, and one gene, LAMA4, was downregulated (Fig. 1d). The gene discussed is LAMC3; the disease is cholangiocarcinoma.
