THOP1 and Alzheimer disease: In the CD3+ T cell subset (Figure 7B, Supplemental Table 2, and Supplemental Figure 10), 3 pathways were significantly enriched and activated: “IL-17 signaling” (z = 3.87, P = 0.018), “differential regulation of cytokine production in intestinal epithelial cells by IL-17A and IL-17F” (z = 2.24, –P = 0.003), and “neuroprotective role of THOP1 in Alzheimer’s disease” (z = 2.7, P = 0.006).
